Ex-President Words for AUSMAT19 Magazine

every time someone comes up to me and ask which program i am from, i have this huge pride in me whenever i answer " The AUSMAT Program". It is not because i will be going to New Zealand or Australia (one of the most interesting countries, i must say), but because i am proud and honoured to be a part of a program which has the most amazing lecturers i have ever met and the most fascinating people i have worked with. i am very grateful to be a part of it.

i believe that most of us would agree when i say that AUSMAT program has the loudest, most enthusiastic students in INTEC. it is amazing how we are asked to speak in class most of the time, when before this talking too much is against the rules. there is always something new and exciting every day.

this magazine will be a reminder of the wonderful experiences we had with our lecturers and friends once we are in New Zealand or Australia. i don't know about the rest of you, but flipping through these pages and looking at the pictures had certainly brought back the fond memories i had through out one and a half year being a part of the AUSMAT program. it has not been an easy task in finishing up this magazine, so on behalf of the South Australian Matriculation Students' Association (SAMSA) i would like to thank the editorial board for working so hard on it.

the AUSMAT program would not have been as much fun if it was not for the encouraging lecturers and the extremely enthusiastic students. they have been most cooperative in all of the SAMSA activities and the high committee appreciates it so much. it has been a great one and a half year because of your ongoing support. i would also like to take this opportunity to thank my committee for your commitments and not to mention, for putting up with me for the whole one and a half year.

on behalf of the South Australian Matriculation Students' Association (SAMSA), i would like to thank all the lecturers for believing in us and we apologize for all of our wrong doings. your help and support is greatly appreciated. lastly, i wish all of you lots of luck in your future endeavours. i hope that all of us would stay in touch with each other even after we have gone our separate ways. many apologies if there has been a time when i have not carried out my duty as well as i should have.

hope to see all of you in New Zealand and Australia.

Regards,
Jazmie Jamaludin
